Standard chartered run ystd was a blast! ran my first 21km ever in my life! hahaa its the first time in my life i ever felt so accomplished, and yet my legs felt like it was gg to break any moment. hahhahah ran with claris and ms liang! for the first 12km before setting off myself! and the three of us almost couldnt run cos we were running in the wrong category! and we got stopped along the way by many flagbearers(security) although everything turned out fine after that:) it was the first time the finish line was such a great thing to see!hahah towards the end every 1km just seems so long to run!but its fun,just thinking how many calories i get to burn!hahahah many things happened that day, like how i went from the 21km route to the 42km route halfway, and then having menses cramps right after the race(heng ah!) and then getting lost with ms liew.hahahahah but it was a great great great day and a run overall cos u get to run at ur own pace and at the same time enjoy the scenery:)

and as the three of us were just half an hour into the race, we saw the world record holder running to the finish line! its this kenyan guy(cant rmb the name) and he finished his race in 2hrs13mins!(42km) thats like 3 mins for 1km! its super fast! an average person takes arnd 6 hours to finish 42km! its crazy,i really admire his determination! and the next 5 runners we saw racing to the finish line were kenyans too! they are damn fast man,seriously. and the next 5 i saw were all caucasians(ang moh). crazy man. WHERES ALL THE ASIANS! hahahahah kidding luh.and i saw this really old woman who ran the 42km! even though she came in quite late, i still admire her spirit man, to finish the race!
